Aiming to create stuffed animals that are "so cute you'll want to hug them"
"We want to provide stuffed animals that will develop the creativity of small children, have designs that are pleasing to adults, and that will be loved for a long time without ever getting tired of them."
In the spring of 2006, Noside Co., Ltd. was established to make this idea a reality.
The brand name Cuddly means "so cute you want to hug it."
Just like living pets, stuffed animals are something you spend time with and connect with on a heart-to-heart basis.
If a plush toy is made with attention to detail, such as its texture and comfort, customers will surely appreciate its value, even if it is expensive.
Cuddly stuffed animals are produced with this strong passion, from planning to sales.
Commitment to Made in Japan
Originally, stuffed toys were designed based on the inspiration for the fabric.
However, times have changed and cheap mass production overseas has become the norm, and designs are now made solely around characters, with colors and shapes at the core.
We believe that texture and feel are the most important aspects of a stuffed animal, so we begin our design process by carefully selecting and coordinating the fabrics for each part.
Using techniques unique to Japanese craftsmen, each piece is carefully finished down to the smallest detail.
Attention to materials
Cuddly stuffed animals are primarily made from Japanese high pile and acrylic boa fabrics.
Both are luxurious fabrics used as fake fur in apparel products, and are characterized by their soft and smooth texture.
The filling is made of lightweight, elastic Japanese polyester cotton, which recreates the soft, pleasant feel of an animal's fur and provides a comfortable hug that makes you want to cuddle it.

Attention to detail
Each animal motif has its own distinctive, adorable facial expressions and behaviors, and we strive to express these as much as possible when creating the molds.
We also spare no expense in the costly and time-consuming process of creating the eyebrows, whiskers, and paws of animals to maximize their charm.
In addition, we have incorporated a number of features to increase the freedom of poses, such as lying down, sitting, and lifting up by pinching the back.
Once you hold it, you will be captivated by its exquisite size, weight, and texture, as well as the facial expression, and it will feel like you are holding a pet rather than just an object, and you will not be able to let go.

Commitment to individuality
When developing a product, there are two patterns: first have the fabric you want to use and imagine the finished product, and secondly, have an image of the finished product in mind and then search for a fabric that matches it.
However, in either case, we proceed while thinking about the background and inner workings of each product, such as what kind of personality they have, where they live, and what kind of life they lead.
Once the image is solidified, materials are gathered and an illustration is first drawn, and then the pattern maker uses this as a basis to create patterns and begin making samples.
From there, we continue to make revisions and go through trial and error over and over again until we are satisfied with the design, and it can take as long as a year or two to complete the final sample.
That's the secret behind why Cuddly stuffed animals are so unique.
Japanese-made stuffed animals in harsh conditions
In recent years, the domestic manufacturing industry has been facing an increasingly severe environment.
Plush toys are no exception.
However, as long as there are materials and manufacturing techniques that cannot be matched by overseas production, we will continue to insist on domestic production in order to provide our customers with high-quality, made-in-Japan stuffed animals that will be loved for a long time.
No matter what times come, we hope that Cuddly stuffed animals will never forget their original intent.
We hope that the stuffed animals we deliver will meet our customers, be given love and affection, and become treasured family members who spend time together.
We hope you will cherish your Cuddly stuffed animal for many years to come.
