Temporary suspension of mail delivery to the United States due to changes in U.S. tariffs and regulations
The official Cuddly online shop outsources shipping outside of Japan to Japan Post.
Japan Post has announced that it will temporarily suspend the acceptance of mail (small packages, parcels, and EMS (goods)) containing the following items to the United States from Wednesday, August 27th, due to the unclear procedures that must be followed in accordance with the "New Guidelines for the Elimination of De Minimis" issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), making implementation extremely difficult.
- Gifts between individuals with a value exceeding 100 US dollars
- Products for sale for consumption
We will continue to accept letters, postcards, printed materials, EMS (documents), and personal gifts of up to US$100.
