Care instructions

※please note※

Please do not wash the entire product in the washing machine, as the texture of the fabric will change, and the padding will become uneven or hardened, causing the product to lose its shape.

1: Daily care

We recommend brushing with a pet brush called a slicker brush.

Although some hair will come off, it can also be used to straighten tangled hair and remove small dust and dirt on the surface.
However, unlike real pets, stuffed animals do not grow new fur and cannot be replanted into the fabric, so please be careful not to brush too much.

2: If you are concerned about white fabric or stains

・Cleaning method using a neutral detergent Dilute the neutral detergent in your home with water, soak it in a sponge or cloth and pat the dirty part, or apply it to a toothbrush and gently rub the dirty part. Wipe with water and dry thoroughly in the shade.

・Cleaning with spray-type electrolyzed alkaline cleaning water It is also effective to spray the surface of the main unit and wipe it off with a dry cloth.

*In any case, if the water penetrates into the filling, it will take a considerable amount of time to dry completely, and as mentioned above, the filling will harden, so please only clean the surface.

[Chanchanko using Kurume Kasuri]

Creative factory This is an original product planned and developed by Hoshinoho.
We use Kurume Kasuri, a traditional Japanese cotton fabric that has been used in the Chikugo region for over 200 years.
The complex and sophisticated traditional technique of creating patterns by tying and dyeing threads and leaving the tied areas undyed was designated as an intangible cultural property in 1966. This is a valuable textile that takes about two months to complete.

All the patterned Kasuri fabrics used for Chanchanko are from Yamamura Kasuri Kobo https://peraichi.com/landing_pages/view/bqauj

We use fabrics from

The plain splashed pattern on the collar is made by Sakata Orimono http://sakataorimono.com/ .

[ Cuddly original design]

~Nozomi~ Designed by Aki Narahara.
Just like the human Chan-chan, each item is carefully handcrafted with cotton.
Accented by a small pocket on the butt.
The sides are not completely sewn and are secured with wooden buttons and elastic, making it easy to adjust the size and make it easy to put on and take off.

A certificate with the shipping date and the designer's signature will be included, and the item will be wrapped in a paper box exclusive to the online shop. Please be sure to read the enclosed paper that contains notes on how to wear and care for it.

[Thoughts put into the Koume pattern]

The plum pattern is an auspicious pattern as it blooms in times of hardship. Plum has also been used as a play on the word ``to give birth'' to pray for a safe delivery.
Also, by weaving seasonal flowers, it has the meaning of adding flowers to life's beginnings and celebrations.
``Bring flowers'' and ``Hand out flowers'' convey the wish to add flowers to life.

[About the size of Chanchanko with Koume pattern]

Chanchanko can be worn by most cats such as ``Somegoro and his funny friends'' and ``The wonderful friends of Montmartre'', but Koharu, Chibisome, Chibipin, Maria Relax, BeBe , and CoCo are worn because their body sizes do not fit. It is a size that cannot be used. note that
