Care instructions

※please note※

Please do not wash the entire product in the washing machine, as the texture of the fabric will change, and the padding will become uneven or hardened, causing the product to lose its shape.

1: Daily care

We recommend brushing with a pet brush called a slicker brush.

Although some hair will come off, it can also be used to straighten tangled hair and remove small dust and dirt on the surface.
However, unlike real pets, stuffed animals do not grow new fur and cannot be replanted into the fabric, so please be careful not to brush too much.

2: If you are concerned about white fabric or stains

・Cleaning method using a neutral detergent Dilute the neutral detergent in your home with water, soak it in a sponge or cloth and pat the dirty part, or apply it to a toothbrush and gently rub the dirty part. Wipe with water and dry thoroughly in the shade.

・Cleaning with spray-type electrolyzed alkaline cleaning water It is also effective to spray the surface of the main unit and wipe it off with a dry cloth.

*In any case, if the water penetrates into the filling, it will take a considerable amount of time to dry completely, and as mentioned above, the filling will harden, so please only clean the surface.

It was designed with attention to detail in the facial expressions and each and every paw pad. It can be posed freely, whether lying down, sitting, or with its back pinched up. No matter what angle you look at it from, it expresses cat-like qualities to the fullest. [Jinbei made with Kurume Kasuri fabric]

Jinbei is an original product planned and developed by Creative Factory Hoshinoho.
We use Kurume Kasuri, a traditional cotton fabric that represents Japan and has been produced in the Chikugo region for over 200 years.
The complex and highly advanced traditional technique of tying threads, dyeing them, and creating patterns by leaving the tied areas undyed was designated an Intangible Cultural Property in 1957. It is a valuable fabric that takes about two months to complete.

All of the kasuri patterns used on the jinbei are made from fabrics by Sakata Orimono http://sakataorimono.com/ .

[Cuddly original design]

This jinbei has a one-sided pattern, with the left and right sides made from different fabrics, and combines a rich, deep blue plain fabric with an auspicious yagasuri pattern fabric.

~Nozomi~ Designed by Aki Narahara, each piece is carefully handmade.

(A certificate with the shipping date and the designer's signature will be enclosed, and the item will be wrapped in a paper box that is only available in the online shop. Please be sure to read the instructions on how to wear and care for the item.)

[The thoughts behind the Yagasuri pattern]

Since ancient times, bows and arrows have been used not only as weapons but also in religious ceremonies, and are believed to ward off misfortune and bring about happiness, as a talisman.

The yagasuri pattern, which represents an arrow, represents wishes for boys to grow up healthy and strong, and because an arrow once shot flies in a straight line and never returns, arrow feather patterns were used on the kimonos and accessories of brides' dowries in the Edo period.

Nowadays, it is common for women to wear yagasuri kimonos to graduation ceremonies with the hope that they will grow into dignified women who move forward with a positive attitude, and the pattern is considered to be very auspicious.

[About Jinbei sizes]

Jinbei is a special outfit for Chibi Some and Chibi Pin. It cannot be worn by other stuffed animals because the size of the body does not fit. Thank you for your understanding.
